CFAR Sounding- Encounters of the Educational Variety: Tigers 4 Tigers Visits CFAR

“When a great desire to learn meets a great desire to teach, magic happens.” It was a magical weekend at CFAR when 10 members of Clemson University’s Tigers 4 Tigers Club visited CFAR to help out. The group has a chance at close observation of the cats, worked hard on a grounds-cleaning project, and learned a great deal of the challenges facing big cat husbandry. This show starts with an interview with Taylor Tench (President) and Diane Dotson (Vice President), and further discussion with Dr. Simba Wiltz and Asli Goncer as we focus on the importance of animal education, its opportunities, and challenges.
