CFAR Sounding: Census Shows More Wild Tigers

A recent tiger census has shown that the number of tigers in India has increased. The improvement of 30% comes as good news for wild tiger populations, but is receiving little attention outside of what is being reported. Dr. Simba Wiltz and Asli Goncer take a closer look at the tiger census and talk about its implications, both good and bad. Having more tigers in the wild is a goal we can all strive for, but do reports like this help or harm conservation efforts? Perspective and analysis will shed some light on the tiger census in this interesting discussion, count on it!   Census Shows More Wild Tigers  Release Date: February 22, 2015
