CFAR Sounding: Anthropomorphism and Conservation

People have been blending the human and animal world since early days. This ascribing of human features to non-humans is called “anthropomorphics”, and it can be seen all around us from the headlights of your car to the clothing we make for animals. This sometimes amusing human diversion comes into focus with today’s discussion as Dr. Simba Wiltz and Asli Goncer take on anthropomorphism through a particular lens. What is it about animals that draws us to blend them with humans, and how does that impact our views on conservation? Join us as we cross species in this episode of CFAR Sounding.
