Bracing for Hurricane Dorian

Bracing for Hurricane Dorian

Central Florida Animal Reserve activated its hurricane protocols earlier in the day and is taking every precaution to make sure our cats are safe as Hurricane Dorian passes into the Central Florida area. We have been in contact with agencies and utilities to prepare for the storm, and volunteers are working daily to secure our site.

Our facility was built with hurricanes in mind, with structures certified capable to withstand the high winds. We are taking every precaution to ensure that our cats and the public are safe during this storm. We ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers along with the greater Central Florida area as we weather the storm.

For more up to date information on how the cats are doing, visit us online at www.cflar.org or follow on our Facebook page.
