My Story
Misunkala’s entire world can be summed up in two words: “Let’s play!”. From his young days as a cub, to his adulthood, he has always exhibited a will to play and adventure. He could be affectionate with his handlers almost to the point of being ‘needy’, but grew into a certain life assuredness that always seemed laid back. These days, he continues to test himself against his environment…and his toys…and occasionally even his enclosure buddy Charger.

Misunkala could get so excited at times that he would leap up into the upper corners of his enclosure. Seeing a 500lb creature momentarily place all four paws in the upper corner of an 8 foot ceiling is a thought provoking experience.
