“Because of You”

Central Florida Animal Reserve has a lot to be grateful for.  This holiday season, we want to share that gratitude with each other, our members, and the world.  To demonstrate this idea, we will be launching our holiday series entitled “Because of You”.  As part of this series, we want to highlight some of the wonderful moments that are a direct outcome of the public support Central Florida Animal Reserve receives.  Our animal residents are the foundation and the core of this campaign–and we are grateful to share in the light they give us all.

Giving Tuesday was started as a counter to the hugely commercial Black Friday and Cyber Monday trends.  It is a day of extraordinary giving, and a chance to make an impact for our animal residents.  Less than 3 percent of all giving in the country goes to animal and environmental causes. Central Florida Animal Reserve relies on 100% of its budget from private donations, foundations, and grants–so every dollar counts.  Thanks to an all-volunteer staff, this revenue can go directly to the resident animals in our care in the form of food, shelter, and constant support.

Osceola Campus Update:

Thanks to the incredible outpouring of support and the successful completion of the ROAR Match Fundraiser, we are completing the work for the Osceola Campus.  Running water, humming electricity, and a climate controlled kitchen are exciting, but not as exciting as the arrival of our animal residents to their new home.  This will be a huge transition for both cats and humans, and will be taking place throughout the first quarter of 2017.
