Early Release Capital Campaigns
Phase 1: Land Acquisition for Central Florida Animal Reserve
The Opportunity
For years, one need has kept showing up on every master plan, every “what’s next,” every hard conversation about long-term care:
Land
More land means more safety, more space, and more stability—for the cats, for the team, and for the mission we’re building for decades to come.
This early release campaign is how we secure the next step before the wider public announcement.
Why Land Matters Right Now
Land acquisition isn’t a “nice to have.” It’s the foundation that unlocks everything else:
- Capacity & breathing room for future rescues when time is tight and options are limited
- Improved animal welfare through expanded habitats, quieter zones, and better separation of spaces
- Quarantine / transition flexibility so new arrivals can decompress safely
- Stronger infrastructure planning (roads, utilities, drainage, service paths, emergency access)
- Long-term protection against rising costs, limited availability, and missed opportunities
This is how we build permanence.
The Early Release Goal
Early Release Target: $200,000 toward land acquisition and closing costs
Public Launch Goal: TBD
Your support in this early phase helps us move quickly, negotiate confidently, and reduce the pressure of a “last-minute scramble.”
Optional line under progress bar:
“Every early gift strengthens our position and shortens the timeline to ‘Yes.’”
What Your Gift Makes Possible
When this land is secured, it becomes the platform for:
- Expanded habitats and future builds
- Enhanced buffer and privacy zones
- Improved visitor and education flow
- Safer operational routes for feeding, maintenance, and veterinary support
- A stronger future for every cat who will one day need a home
Land is freedom. Land is security. Land is the future.
Phase 2: CFAR Veterinary Center
The Need We Can’t Outsource
Rescue doesn’t stop at arrival. Real sanctuary work means long-term medical care—planned, urgent, and everything in between. Right now, veterinary care requires careful coordination, time, transport, and workarounds that add stress for cats and staff. A dedicated CFAR Veterinary Center changes that. It means we can treat faster, monitor closer, and provide a level of care that matches the life we’re committing to protect.
What the Veterinary Center Unlocks
A purpose-built medical space creates immediate, lasting improvements:
- Safer examinations and procedures with appropriate restraint and workflow
- Faster response to emergencies and sudden changes
- Better diagnostics and monitoring (bloodwork, imaging coordination, recovery space)
- Reduced stress from transport and repeated handling
- Improved quarantine and biosecurity for new arrivals or contagious concerns
- Stronger preventative care so small issues don’t become big ones
- A training and learning platform for vetted professionals, students, and partners
This is about care quality, speed, and safety—every day, for years.
The Early Release Goal
Early Release Target: TBD toward design, build, and critical equipment
Public Launch Goal: TBD
Optional line: “Early gifts fund the pieces that take the longest—planning, permits, and essential equipment.”
